Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1 June 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Outfinder app (the “Application”) for iOS, created by Alejandro Camps (the “Service Provider”). Outfinder is built to keep your data on your device. The few cases where information leaves your device are described below, and they only happen when you choose to use the feature involved.
1. Data stored on your device
The following is stored only on your device and never sent to the Service Provider:
- Your wardrobe: the garment photos you capture or import, their detected colors, and how you group them into looks.
- Favorites and preferences: the color combinations you save and your app settings.
- Premium status: whether you have an active subscription or pack, stored securely in the device Keychain.
You can delete all of this by uninstalling the Application.
2. Garment extraction from photos
When you choose to extract garments from a photo (for example, importing clothes from your gallery), the single photo you select is sent over an encrypted connection to our processing service and to Google's Gemini API, which detects the garments in the image. The result is returned to your device, where the cut-out garments are saved to your wardrobe. This only happens for photos you explicitly choose to process, and the photo is used solely to perform that extraction.
3. In-app purchases and subscriptions
Outfinder offers optional in-app purchases, including an auto-renewable subscription. All payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The Service Provider never receives or stores payment information. Purchase status is verified through RevenueCat, which receives a randomly generated app identifier and no personally identifiable information.
4. Reference images
The Application downloads example outfit images from our content delivery network (outfinders.app) to illustrate color combinations. These carry no personal data about you.
5. No analytics or tracking
The Application uses no analytics services, advertising frameworks, crash-reporting tools, or any form of user or cross-app tracking.
6. Children's privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children, and is suitable for all ages.
7. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
